Advertising Vacancies

At Collins Property Managers, we offer several levels of service to those who wish to rent out or sell their property. These options give property owners the choices in terms of how much of an active roll they will take in dealing with their property. We treat your investment as though it was our very own!

Careful Tenant Screening

We want reliable and qualified tenants just as much as you do, and we pride ourselves on the quality of tenants we are able to attract. Our extensive tenant screening and lease procedures help to ensure this. We do a thorough credit check before the lease is signed. This includes checking history with the credit bureau, verifying employment and checking all appropriate references, including past landlords. We crosscheck landlord references with local property tax records to confirm their legitimacy.

To offer you maximum protection, our leases are based on years of experience and comply with all state and federal laws. Prior to signing the lease, we will prepare a written move-in checklist to document the condition of the property.

We provide emergency Service, When the water heater bursts or the toilet overflows at midnight, we get the call - you get the sleep. We are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to respond to emergencies.

Eviction Service

Nobody wins when an eviction happens, so it is best to strive for a solution with the tenant. But allowing a habituallv late paying tenant to remain forever in arrears only postpones the inevitable day when they skip out owing you rent, and possibly leaving the property a wreck. Eviction for nonpayment of rent in California is fast and certain when the steps are executed properly. When you hire us to manage your property, we can evict your problem tenant (usually within 3 to 4 weeks) and replace them with a qualified tenant who pays on time.

Menlo Park AREA INFORMATION

Menlo Park Property Managers

In the nineteenth century two Irish immigrants, Dennis J. Oliver and his brother-in-law D. C. McGlynn, purchased a 1,700-acre (6.9 km2) tract of land on the former Rancho de las Pulgas.[4] In the 1850s they erected a gate with a wooden arch bearing the inscription "Menlo Park" at the entrance to their property (now the intersection of Middle Ave and El Camino Real). The word "Menlo" derived from the owners' former home of Menlo in County Galway, Ireland. In 1863, the San Francisco and San Jose Rail Road named a nearby station "Menlo Park" after the sign. The 1867 station building still stands on the platform of the current Caltrain station, used by the local Chamber of Commerce. The town of Menlo Park grew up around this station, becoming a popular home for San Francisco businessmen. A post office arrived in 1870, and the city was incorporated in 1874. The original arch which gave its name to the stations and ultimately the city survived until 1922, when it was destroyed in an automobile accident.[4] The origin of the name of Menlo Park, California (ca 1850) pre-dates any work done by Thomas Edison (ca 1876) in Menlo Park, New Jersey.
